Alrite, my name’s Jonny I am proud to be a friend of Tris’s & equally proud to be asked to explain myself on here!

I recently got a Turtle Dove tattoo’d to my right arm:

I did this for a number of reasons, but principally because I’d recently learnt a lot about Turtle Doves, their decline in the UK & the numerous cross continent reasons for this decline.

So, in summary the Turtle Dove was tattoo’d in support of Operation Turtle Dove & to commemorate the fundraising event.

The words ‘Live to Win’ reflect the race aspect of the bird race, but are also a pretty sweet moto & of course a Motörhead song!

The last bit of explanation – why I chose to to get the tattoo on my right arm – is simple. I was inspired by Tris’s colossal efforts in support of Turkish Conservation
